Relaxation During the Holidays
Amidst the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, one must be sure to set aside some quiet time, specifically for them.

Create Sweet Memories
While many will unfortunately remember those painful memories of their past when they were abused as a child, this holiday season can also be a time of creating sweet memories.

Surviving Through Journaling
Journaling is a wonderful tool to use as the survivor of child abuse sets out to process and heal.

Children and Emotions
Children that are abused are normally not allowed to feel any emotion while with their abuser. As they grow, they continue to hide those emotions. They deserve to have a childhood, including that part of their being that is aware of their emotions.

Donations During the Holidays
There are many women and children in need of clothing, gifts, toiletries etc. in abuse shelters across the country.

Stressors During the Holidays
The holidays are rapidly approaching. This means that the abuse might get worse, due to certain stressors within the home.

Teenagers and Defining Themselves
Teenagers have a difficult road to walk when it comes to puberty. However, when the teen is being battered at home, that makes the process that much more difficult.

Regaining the Trust of a Child
When a child has been abused, their trust is something that becomes sacred to them. When a parent is the abuser, they lose their childīs trust and it is not easy to regain.

Book Review - Daddy, I Forgive You
My review of the book titled, "Daddy, I Forgive You," written by C.J. Wilkes.
