You have just brought your new baby Lovebird home. Once you put him in the nice new cage you bought, you are ready to play with him. But your little bird is afraid of you – what can you do?

My Lovebird, Bubbles was looking pretty cute this morning, so I took this picture to make a jigsaw puzzle.

Birds´ bodies are covered with feathers instead of hair like our other pets (dogs, cats, etc). Dogs and cats shed some fur all the time, with major sheds in the spring and sometimes again in the fall. Birds do the same things with their feathers.
