Slide-in Motion Tween in Flash CS4
In this tutorial we will learn how to make a slide-in motion tween effect in Flash CS4.

Make a 125 x 125 Ad Button in Flash
This tutorial will teach you how to create an animated 125 x 125 pixel square button ad in Flash CS4.

Add ActionScript to Button for Envelope Animation
We will add ActionScript to our button. This code will tell Flash to stop the animation on Frame 80 and listen for the button to be clicked. When the button is clicked, the ActionScript will move the animation on to Frame 81 and the second half of the animation.

Invisible Button for the Envelope Animation
Now we are to the point in our project where we will add the button which we will program to trigger the second half of the envelope animation. We will make an invisible button and put it right over the top of the stamp.

Fade-in Effect for Text in Flash CS4 Ecard Project
In this tutorial, we will continue working on the envelope animation for our Flash ecard project. We have already built the fly-in tween that moves the envelope onto the center of the stage. Now, we will create the fade-in animation for the Click on Stamp text message.

Flash Fly-in Effect for Envelope Animation
We will continue with the object-based tween that we started in the previous tutorial to make our envelope fly onto the screen, while flipping and rotating. It will stop in the center of the stage.

Load Image File into Flash Movie with URLRequest
Keep the file size of your Flash project to a minimum by using external assets. These assets do not contribute to the download time. In this tutorial, we will learn how to use ActionScript 3 to load an external image into our main Flash movie.

Adding Interactive Components in Flash Catalyst
In this tutorial, we will finish the portfolio slide-show in Adobe Flash Catalyst. If you have been following along, we have made our buttons and are ready to add the special effects.

Turning Graphics into Buttons in Flash Catalyst
Now that we have imported our portfolio project Photoshop file into Adobe Flash Catalyst, we are ready to work on the navigation for our portfolio. We will build the pages or states for our project and turn our imported graphics into button components in Flash Catalyst.

Flash Catalyst The Workspace
Open your PortfolioLayout.psd portfolio project file into Catalyst and let's take a look around. At first glance, you will see that the workspace is not as intimidating as the Flash workspace.
