Apple Motion 5 - The Toolbar
When you begin to learn how to use Motion, you will notice that it has an extensive set of tools that we can use to add objects and effects to our projects. These tools are found in the Toolbar.

Apple Motion - HUD
In Apple Motion, you control animations by setting the values for a group of parameters. There are two places in the workspace that display these setting controls; the HUD and the Inspector.

Particle System - Emitter Shape Parameters
Our goal in this set of tutorials is to make a Motion particle system that simulates a natural snowfall. In this second tutorial, we will take a look at how the particle system Shape parameter will help us to accomplish our goal.

Motion Particle Systems - Introduction
In this group of tutorials, we will study a Motion particle system starting with a simple circle shape and, as we progress, we will take a look at the ways we can customize our particle system.

Particle Fog in Motion 5 - Scene Graphics
In this tutorial, we will import a layered Photoshop image into a new Motion 5 document and discuss how layer order and layer styles are handled.

Motion 5 Parallax Effect - The Graphics
In Motion 5, much like the Ken Burns effect, the Parallax effect is used to simulate movement of static graphics. The intro will consist of several layers of these graphics and by adding camera movement in to the mix, we will have a 2.5 D animation.

Animate Lower Third in Motion 5
In this Motion tutorial we will add the text to the lower third and build the animation. At this point we have imported a background graphic for the lower third, reduced the opacity of the graphic and positioned it at the left bottom corner of the screen.

Drop Zone and Lower Third in Motion 5
In the last Motion tutorial, we added the copyright text to the craft product trailer template that we are building in Motion. Now we will add the lower third that will display the name of the craft product.

Add Static Text To Craft Product Trailer Template
In this tutorial, we will continue to work on the craft product trailer template. We are using Motion to create the template with placeholders, call drop zones, for the customizable graphics and other design elements in the template.

Drop Zones and Transitions in Motion 5
In the last Motion tutorial, we created the first two Drop Zones for our craft trailer template. The Drop Zones were placeholders for the background image and the intro clip. In this tutorial, we will add a transition to the end of the Drop Zone for the intro clip.
