Loss of Urban Open Space to Kids
In a fight over the local zoo taking over a beloved park single and childfree couples' needs are being sidelined in the discussion. We will probably loose our beloved park to the most aggressive citizens among us - the desperate and boring parents running on the treadmill of kidfotainment.

Does Having Kids Make You Old?
I notice more and more that parents are sold on popular kid-culture as the only meaningful form of society. They endow their children with vampiristic power to suck the life out their adulthood. Adult pursuits are set aside as parents turn into giddy, wrinkled teenagers.

Reality Show is Childfree Reality Check

Is Living Without Kids Unnatural?
Childfree people - people making reasonable, deliberate decisions to not reproduce - are often accused of living lives that are, somehow, unnatural.

Will the "S Generation" Opt to Have Fewer Kids?
A speaker at one our local college graduations dubbed the students the S Generation, S for Sustainability. Unfortunately, no mention was made of the one sustainable practice in which significant change can be made in one generation choosing to have smaller families - or, no children at all

The High Cost of Having Children
How much does it really cost to have kids? Money is one childbearing decision-making factor that people with kids, and the child free, are reluctant to discuss. Many people seem to opt for a magical thinking strategy when planning for the cost of having children.
