Think curry, not "Chocolat" -- and eat before you see it. You´ve been warned. The Other Boleyn Girl "The Other Boleyn Girl", starring Natalie Portman, Scarlett Johansson and a ripped Eric Bana as Henry VIII is a glossy bodice ripper-style soap opera with plenty of scheming, betrayals and gorgeous costumes for lovers of historical romantic drama. Barefoot in the Park Starring a young Jane Fonda and Robert Redford, "Barefoot in the Park" may be dated but it´s still a delightful romantic comedy for people who enjoy sparkling performances and snappy dialogue. For The Moment Before "A Good Year", Russell Crowe played the romantic leading man in a little known indie gem called "For The Moment”, a wartime romance set in rural Manitoba. Yes, Manitoba! Miss Potter This movie marks the second wonderful pairing of Renée Zellweger and Ewan McGregor. And like Beatrix Potter's stories, this postcard-pretty film moves at a gentle, sedate pace. The Holiday Two heartbroken women decide to exchange houses for the holiday season and get more than they expect. This "chick flick" starring Cameron Diaz and Kate Winslet is as sweet as a candy cane. Christmas in Connecticut This fast and funny 1945 holiday movie is from the oldie but goodie vault. A cooking columnist who can't cook must host her boss and a war vet for Christmas at her non-existent family farmhouse with her non-existent family. First Knight "First Knight" is a retooling of the Arthurian legends with no Merlin, Mordred or Lady of the Lake. But King Arthur, Guinevere and Lancelot are still there, otherwise, it wouldn´t be a Arthurian film now, would it? The Perfect Man Jean Hamilton moves her family every time a romance breaks up. But this time will be the last time, thanks to daughter Holly, who hooks her up in a cyber-romance with "The Perfect Man". Problem is, he doesn´t exist. Or does he? Dracula The 1979 version of "Dracula" with Frank Langella and Kate Nelligan is Gothic romance at its best.
