Left 4 Dead 2 - PC The polished successor to last year's hit "Left 4 Dead", Left 4 Dead 2 expands the basic gameplay of the previous game and adds several new features to the mix. Shattered Horizon - PC "Shattered Horizon" is an unusual take on the standard "space marine" genre, in that it actually uses space in gameplay. Gaming Industry in a Recession The year 2009 was a recession year for many, presenting great challenges in getting funding to do projects. Borderlands RPG Borderlands is an RPG-based First Person Shooter set in a postapocalyptic wasteland. However, the seemingly promising combination of genres doesn't result in a particularly fun game. The Last Remnant - PC "The Last Remnant" is a strategy RPG (with more of the latter than the former) produced by Square-Enix using the Unreal 3 engine. Majesty 2 - PC The sequel to Cyberlore's original "Majesty", released in 2000, "Majesty 2" is a Fantasy Kingdom Simulator by a completely different studio that attempts to uphold the standard established by its predecessor. In some ways, it succeeded; in other ways, it could not. Darkest of Days A first-person shooter that uses Time Travel as its main gimmick, Darkest of Days is a solid game with a lot of potential that never quite gets around to really exploring it.
