Hurtful Comments from Others
Often, when a survivor of child abuse is ready to process their past and learn to move on in their lives, there are some comments that can hurt them and hinder their healing process.

How Do We Know?
How do we know when a child is being abused? How do we know when to report a concern that we might have? These are questions that must be addressed in order to prevent child abuse.

Holidays and Abused Children
Though many people experience the holidays with love, joy, and laughter, the abused child does not. Their holidays are filled with mixed emotions and fear. They observe much in the malls, yet it all seems so out of reach for them. There is something you can do to help a child this Thanksgiving.

Halloween Safety Tips
This article lists some safety tips for Halloween trick-or-treating.

Halloween and Abusers
October is here and with it come festivities, including Halloween. Child abuse victims face their own terrors during this season. What can we do to help them?

Grieving
I believe every person that has experienced child abuse will eventually go through the grieving process. Exactly what is it that a survivor of child abuse grieves? How can the survivor navigate through the grieving process?

Good and Bad Touch
I recently received an email from an individual asking me how I felt was the best way to teach a child on appropriate and inappropriate touching. In this article, I will do my best to answer that question, as well as go over the basics about good and bad touches.

Getting Past the Memories
The holiday season can be a time of great frustration as survivors of child abuse remember times that were filled with pain. This article explores the possibility of creating new memories for today and learning to enjoy the holiday season now upon us.

Foster Care and Abuse
This article explores both sides of foster care. There are those that are responsible for further abusing a foster child, as well as those that take the child into ther own homes, as though they were their own child.

Forgiveness
The concept of forgiveness brings up many questions for victims of child abuse. In this article, I attempt to discuss those questions.
