The second season of Who Do You Think You Are (WDYTYA) aired tonight starring Vanessa Williams. It kept me interested and feeling quite emotional as Vanessa learned of her family’s heritage.

Brooke Shield’s family was featured on Who Do You Think You Are tonight. It was exciting to see the excitement on their faces as they discover their ancestry. I found her ancestry interesting as it had a line that was not as well off that married into a well-to-do family with royal heritage.

I was excited all day to finally be watching Who Do You Think You Are?. I was already sort of down because I had found out this week that RootsTelevision & Ancestry Magazine had both decided to stop production. I needed something like this show to lift my genealogical spirits.
