Getting Finacially Fit
It is never easy trying to figure out which bill to pay first, when you really do not have the finances to pay either! Budgeting and cutting expenses are words that many wish were never apart of their vocabulary. Continuing in the mini-series of Black Women and Money...Getting Financially Fit.

Getting Personal With Your Faith
When you want to know something, do you ask questions? Of course! How else are you going to find out the answers if you don't ask questions? The same applies with our faith. Our faith/belief are personal matters. And if we have a question, then why not go to the Source and ask those questions?

Getting Through Depression
Depression is no laughing matter, or something that you want to “sweep” under the rug. It is an illness that can and will affect every aspect of your life; debilitating many from leading healthy, productive lives that they use to live.

Getting to Know God
Many have asked how do you get to know God. I find that, Knowing God--getting to know God--is in our daily tasks of following Him. It is in the very things that we do on a daily basis.

Giving in the African American Community
As we look over our history as a culture, African American’s have been strong in the area of giving. Our ancestors understood what it meant to give. Many shared and had a spirit of giving because that is what kept us alive. It was a way of life. What are we doing to keep that spirit alive?

Giving Thanks for the Life You Have
Our life may not be all that we want it to be; but we are alive, and can take the opportunity to count the blessings instead of the problems.

Going Green
You've heard people say it: "Go Green". But what does it all mean? How can "going green" help us individually and globally? It's not that hard to do your part, if you know what to do. Let 2009 be the year you go green.

Governing of the People Bypassed by Politics
The numbers do not lie. Politicking has overshadowed the governing of our people. African American and Latino households are facing the most egregious times should things continue as they are. We must begin by taking a stand for change and recognize what all the political fights are really about.

Grace To Begin Again
We've all made mistakes. But we do not have to continue to suffer for them, or feel ashamed. God gives us grace to begin again.

Great Expectations
Food for your spirit to feast upon. Let God show you just how worthy you are. Expect great things today...you are worth it!
