A delicious and healthy flatbread that contains no oil or butter. It is also a gluten free flatbread for those unable to eat wheat. In Maharashtra, bhakri is traditionally eaten with pitla ("besan polenta").
Bhatura is basically fried naan. It's a delicious and addictive flatbread that goes with just about anything. A favorite combination in India is chole (Punjabi Chickpea Curry) and bhature. But I love them with just about anything from dals to kebabs and anything in between :-)
