Ellisville Harbor State Park
Walking along the cliffs above the Ellisville Harbor salt marsh, I startled a large Blue Heron into flight and then fumbled with my camera trying to get a photo of it. You can walk a mile long trail that leads to cliffs above a coastal beach where seals are frequently seen just offshore in winter.

Fairbanks Natural History Museum
The Fairbanks Natural History Museum is located just off of Main Street in St. Johnsbury Vermont and is filled with thousands of preserved animals, fossils, insects and artifacts. There is an active weather station, planetarium and an internet based exhibit.
