Archive by Article Title | Archive by Date Wii Sports Resort Review Wii Sports Resort is a great collection of mini-games all located at a mythical island. You can do archery, frisbee, swordfighting, golf, and more. Lots of fun! Wii Shop Channel The Wii shop channel lets you buy new channels and games for your Nintendo Wii. Just be prepared to enter your credit card number. Wii Remote Plus Controller When the Wii first came out, the controllers did not have the full motion sensors they have now. You can either get an add-on for those old style controllers - or you can get a new, integrated Wii Remote Plus Controller. Wii Remote Controller The Wii Remote Controller is shaped like a standard TV remove, and has motion sensing ability. You wave it around, and your on-screen character waves their wand! Wii Preorder Information If you are trying to get your hands on a Nintendo Wii gaming console, pre-ordering it before its November 19 2006 release, make sure you're online Thursday, November 9th. Wii Play with Wii Remote Wii Play is a multi-game arcade set along with a free remote. A better way to look at this is that you get a remote along with a free or perhaps cheap game. The games aren't great, but they're certainly not awful! Wii Party Wii Party is a minigame-based set of games which is fun for all ages. You can even play the games on your own if you wish. Highly recommended! Wii Nunchuck Controller In martial arts, nunchucks are a pair of short wood rods connected with a chain that ninjas whirl around their bodies :) With the Wii, the nunchuck is a single controller held in your off hand. Wii Music Wii Music takes the world of creating musical songs and brings it into the simple but fun world of the Wii. In some ways it's easier than the Guitar Hero / Rock Band games - in other ways it's more creative. Wii Mail Channel The envelope icon on the Wii's main menu screen brings you into the mail area of the Wii's interface. This isn't exactly a channel, but is a message center.
