The new dates for this year’s showcase are as follows:

Birmingham, AL – More Than Conquerors Faith Church, Pastor Steven Green- Friday, July 18, 2003 doors open 6pm

Final Showcase Atlanta, GA-Central Baptist Church, Pastor Erven Kimble-Saturday, August 16, 2003 doors open 3pm

WINNERS
Each of the selected markets: Birmingham, AL; Columbia, SC; and Atlanta, GA will select 1 winner in each category. The eighteen artists will then be given the opportunity to compete in the final showcase. Each finalist will receive a trophy for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each category. The finalist will also have media coverage from publications such as Gospel Today magazine, TV broadcast on the Gospel showcase Internet Channel NUGS, compilation CD recording and radio interviews on Inspirations Across America, In addition, the 6 first place winners of the final showcase will get a chance perform on a promotional tour.

Because of the increased request from artist of other regions wanting to receive national exposure, The National Gospel Artist Showcase was formed as a way for independent artist to showcase their work, be recognized by experts in the music industry, and receive exposure through the National Gospel Artist ShowcaseTV Broadcast Internet channel NUGS. This year we have taken the huge task of finding the best talent”, states Kokayi Olushola, the National Gospel
Showcase Executive Director.

The talent judges for the showcase are some of the most influential in the industry such as Mr. Kevin Bond, the third most sought –after producer in the industry according to the Gospel Music Round Up magazine, Ms. Veda Brown, Founder/Owner of Black Gospel Promo, Ms. Andrea William, President of Tehillah Enterprises, and Founder of the Gospel News Update, Mr. Rowland Hairston Marketing Director for the Gospel Today Magazine, Tia Smith Producer for the BET Bobby Jones Show, and Melanie Few CEO of Results, Inc. an entertainment marketing company with such clients as Kirk Franklin, Bishop T.D. Jakes and Yolanda Adams.
