Once inside the tree house, Jack and Annie find a book on Ancient Egypt. The magic tree house is a time portal. It transports the Frog Creek kids outside the pyramid of Queen Hutepi. Jack and Annie follow what they think is a parade into the pyramid. In reality, it is a funeral procession.

The Frog Creek Kids encounter tomb robbers and Queen Hutepi’s ghost. Brother and sister learn cool facts about Ancient Egypt. Hieroglyphs are a form of writing. Read quiet, soothing books to children in their warm, comfortable bed. This allows a child to associate reading with comfort and security. The association will continue a lifetime.
