An E-Card On Your Website - 2

Step 7. Add the text. Let's add the text "From Our House To Yours" in the first row of the table. Let's also set the text font to something nice like "comic sans ms", the color of the text to #e0d218, and the size to 5. We also want to give the text some style. Let's add the italic and bold tags. Of course, you can change the message to anything you want.

<font face="comic sans ms" size="5"
color="#e0d218"><i><b>your message</b></i></font>
Note--The arrow indicates that the code is wrapped to a second line and should really be all on one line.

Notice the order or nesting of the html tags. <font><i><b> </b></i></font>

Step 8. Add the second line of text. Repeat the previous step for the second line of text (May Your Holidays Be Joyful) and place this text in the bottom table cell.

Step 9. Move the table down. Right now the table is at the top of the webpage. It would look better if the table was a little down from the top of the page. Let's add a paragraph tag which will move the table down a little. Some older browsers need a space between the opening <p> and the closing </p>. So let's add the         code too.

<p></p>

OK, you're done. Click here to view the entire HTML code for the e-card webpage. Name your webpage "seasonsgreetings.html" and save it in your "Holiday" folder. You are now ready to upload the folder (which includes the animation, the background image, and the webpage) to your website. To view your webpage use the url address below but don't forget to replace "www.yourwebsite.com" with the url address of your website.

www.yourwebsite.com/Holiday/seasonsgreetings.html

You can now email your family and friends the url address above and they can visit your website and view your online holiday greeting.

Happy Holidays
