Yes, J K Rowlings will introduce a long, lost secret blood relative in the final book of the Harry Potter series. Harry Potter fans remember what Professor Albus Dumbledore tells Aunt Petunia in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. He tells her the love of a blood relative will keep Harry safe!
Now dear readers, we have assumed that Aunt Petunia is his only blood relative. That is the reason he lives with the Dursley family. Okay, that does not mean that she is the only blood relative. Another, relative will help and keep Harry Potter safe during his final battle with Lord Voldemort.
I don’t believe Aunt Petunia is the only loving relative so I conclude there is another relative. This unknown, secret relative will appear in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. The character will probably be a relative of James Potter. Aunt Petunia is not interested in the wizard world. She is not the type of person who invited James’ relatives to Sunday dinner to meet and become friends with them.
Why have we not met this person? Simply, the person is an Auror trying to destroy Lord Voldemort and revenge James and Lily Potter’s murder. Professor Albus Dumbledore knew of this person’s existence. He kept the person hidden from others. Remember, he knew of Harry’s godfather, Sirius Black. Dumbledore knows being an Auror is a deadly profession. Neville Longbottom’s parents who are Aurors lost their minds while trying to destroy evil wizards. They are now patients in St. Mungo.
Also, it is mentioned that Harry Pottter repeatedly had dreams of an unknown relation coming to take him away. In the past, the young wizard's dreams have proven true, happening at a later date. Harry dreamt of a flying motorcycle. Hagrid rode a flying motorcycle to deliver baby Harry to the Dursleys.
In, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, this secret blood relative may make an appearance. Again, Dumbledore says the love of a blood relative will keep Harry safe. Dumbledore does make the statement that the Durleys are "the only family he has left now." Yet, the sly professor never tells all his secrets.
