Having a Low Carb Halloween

Halloween is a great time of year for costumes, and parties, but how do you handle all the candy, chocolate and sugar? Here are great tips for a healthy low carb Halloween full of fun!

Candy
We've tried several candies including CVS Gummy Bears that use Hydrogenated starch hydrolysate as a low carb substitute. We've tested them on adults and kids and all loved them. Check out your local store for them!

Chocolate
Sure, the old chocolates in the diet world were nasty tasting. But you simply have to taste the new sugar-free put out by Lindt and Hershey's. Because of the huge diet and diabetic market, the research into these treats has been phenomenal, and the tastes are delicious. Again, we had adults and kids try them out - many who had no interest in "dieting". The treats were found to be delicious and just as tasty as the sugar variety.
