This recipe is so much easier than stuffed peppers and it tastes great!
Yield: 6 servings
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 30 minutes
1 lb ground beef
1 cup celery; chopped
1 cup green pepper; chopped
1 medium onion; chopped
1 teaspoon olive oil
1 can (16 oz) tomato; chopped
1 can (6 oz) Tomato paste
1 1/4 teaspoon Salt
1/2 teaspoon paprika
Brown ground beef in a frying pan.
In a separate pot, saute onion, green pepper and celery with the olive oil. Cool until the onions are clear.
Once onion mixture is complete, add ground beef, chopped tomatoes, tomato paste, salt and paprika. Mix well and heat through.
Serve plain, over brown rice or on whole wheat hamburger buns.
