The Liquid Smoke folks are offering a sample of their product. I just received mine in hickory flavor. There is also Mesquite, Pecan and Apple. You get a 2 for 1 coupon and a couple of recipes. I like the one for Instant Smokey Potatoes. Yes. I know that we don't use instant potatos ever ;-)
Instant Smokey Potatoes
1 pouch of instant potatoes
1 1/4 cups of water
2/3 cup milk
2 tablespoons butter
1/4 ounce Liquid Smoke
Heat water, milk and butter in a saucepan. Add Liquid Smoke. Stir in instant potatoes and season to taste with salt and pepper. Cook according to directions on pouch.
