Sausage and Egg Casserole Recipe

Breakfast casseroles are popular during the holidays. This sausage and egg casserole recipe has been a family favorite for years. It’s fun for kids to help prepare, and delicious enough to be enjoyed be kids and adults alike.

This recipe also makes a great budget friendly gift. To deliver this holiday casserole as a gift, complete steps one through nine below, and place in your refrigerator. When it’s time to deliver your homemade holiday gift, attach a note with baking directions (step ten).

We hope you enjoy your Sausage and Egg Casserole!

Place in your refrigerator until you are ready to eat, and then bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.

Ingredients:

Steps:

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees.


  2. Spray your pan with a non stick cooking spray.


  3. Brown sausage on medium heat.


  4. In a large bowl, combine the sausage and eggs.


  5. Spray a casserole dish (9 x ll) with a non stick cooking spray.


  6. Unroll a layer of crescent dough and place in the bottom of the pan.


  7. Pour the egg and sausage mixture over the layer of crescent dough.


  8. Sprinkle the cheese over the egg and sausage mixture.


  9. Place another layer of crescent roll dough over the top of the casserole.


  10. Cover with tin foil, and back at 350 degrees for thirty to thirty five minutes.
