Hilary Duff

This multi-talented young lady is best known for her role as Lizzie McGuire on the Disney Channel but also sings and has a staring role in the movie Agent Cody Banks. These accomplishments, together with her natural beauty and sweet bashful personality makes her the idol of many girls from grade school through the teen years.

Her beautiful long blonde hair is what every young woman seems to want.

The cut:
Although we have seen her in different lengths, the cut I'll discuss is just below shoulder level. This length allows her hair to swing and move with her body.
Layering starts at about jaw level and extends to the ends.
Her bangs are completely sererate - not blended in. They are fairly thick and short enough to show off her beautiful eyes and fine brows.

The color:
Unless you are lucky enough to be a natural blonde, use a tint to lighten your hair to a light golden blonde. You may need professional assistance to achieve this truly delicate color.
Next you will add extra light or white blonde highlights and follow up with a deep conditioner to obtain her beautiful healthy shine.

The style:
Use a shampoo and conditioner formulated for your hair type.
To dry, clip all the hair above your cheek bones up and out of the way.
Everything from ear level down should lay close to the body. Style this area by brushing it smoothly in a downward motion while drying it thouroughly. Cup the ends under slightly.
Dry your bangs straight.
When that's done, release the rest of the hair and apply a light gel or mousse. You will blow dry this area for fullness. Do this by using a blowdryer and brush to dry it in the opposite way that it will fall. This builds body. Finish styling with your fingers and a light, flexible hair spray.

For a fluffier and dressier look:
You may have seen Hillary's more dressed up look with more fluff and big messy waves. For this look, tip your head upside down and dry the root area for fullness leaving the ends damp. Flip your hair back over and finish drying by scrunching in waves using a diffuser. Dry the bangs using a large round brush and fluff them to the side.
