Giving Thanks on Thanksgiving

The holiday season is once again fast approaching, and soon we'll be celebrating Thanksgiving. As we begin the hustle and bustle of this year's holiday season, start to plan our Thanksgiving Day menu and activities with family and friends, let us not forget the most important giving of thanks:

To God... for the many blessings he bestows upon us each and every day of our lives...

Buy Saying Grace at Art.com For our family and loved ones, and this most precious time together.
For the many talents God's given each of us.
For the sound of a child's laughter.
For the tranquility of a mountain stream.
For the beauty of a perfect rainbow.
For the light slowly rising above the horizon in radiant color, blessing us with a glistening day full of fresh beginnings and endless opportunities.
For the equally amazing sunset and promise of tomorrow.
For the gift of grace and faith.
For love. God's perfect and complete love.
For Jesus, our Savior, and the hope of eternal life.
For the many avenues and chances we have to share Christ's love and our blessings with others.

Prayer for the Thanksgiving
Father all-powerful, your gifts of love are countless and your goodness infinite. On Thanksgiving Day we come before you with gratitude for your kindness: open our hearts to concern for our fellow men and women, so that we may share your gifts in loving service.

We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

If you will be away from home for the holiday and need to find a church community in the area you will be visiting, go to Masstimes.org, and have a safe journey.

Wishing you all a very blessed and wonderful Thanksgiving.
