Does it feel, lately, your constantly in the wrong place or trying to do all of the right things while having little to show for it?

These days it seems quite literally, as if wave of "Jiffy Pop" has swept through our steady stream of life. Everything has been rearranged and seems as if we're simply, waiting as one world leaves and a new one emerges.

I believe though, something else is happening. We are being re-directed; a chance to do things a bit differently.

Imagine an umbrella, if you will, as our larger, infinite source of all-being and we extend from it, as the handle. The further we are from the umbrella, gradually, the more difficult it feels to find balance and happiness.

Recently, someone said to me in a reading, "I have all I ever REALLY wanted, in my whole life, but I am overwhelmed/consumed with everything negative surrounding me. What IS wrong!? What does God expect from me?"

I am definitely not in a position to speak for God. What I did say was "Is what you have now more fulfilling than what you had before when things "felt" less frustrating?"

This person said, "Well, yea...I thought when I had everything I ever truly wanted, things would just fall into place better than they did before."

Not always. Especially, when what your heart truly wants surfaces and what you had before was what you had in mind and picked for yourself.

To continue keeping what they had, they would be required to discover untapped resources of the heart. The image came as a loaf of bread, tough beginning, fresh middle, toughing it out.

When we reach a point where we are feeling empty or stagnate it is that "umbrella handle" of ours informing us we are lacking something. Our soul will tug and tug until we forcefully get ourselves out, of what we had gotten ourselves into.

However, if balance can be maintaned, we will hear our hearts. Whether or not something that leaves us is really the tragedy we think it is, will emerge as almost a relief when we get down to it.

Where to go from here? When we begin to realize we may even be better off without the things we had, and even better for the things we have coming, coincidence and that feeling inside that tells us simply, not to look down, will be the part of the umbrella worth reaching for.
