Crispy Peanut Butter Balls Recipe

Crispy Peanut Butter Balls

Make homemade, crispy, chocolate peanut butter candy with this easy to prepare recipe.

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 cups creamy peanut butter
  • 3 cups Rice Krispies® cereal
  • 16 oz. confectioner's sugar
  • 12 oz. chocolate chips, either milk chocolate or semi-sweet

Preparation -
Melt the butter in a large, heavy saucepan. Add the peanut butter and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until smooth. Remove from heat and stir in the Rice Krispies® cereal and confectioner's sugar. Shape the mixture into 1" to 1-1/4" round balls. Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave oven or in a double boiler. Dip each peanut butter ball into the melted chocolate 3 times to form a generous chocolate coating. Let the chocolate harden completely before storing in a airtight container.

To easily melt the chocolate....

Electric Pot
This non-stick countertop electric pot gently heats chocolate to the perfect melting temperature. It comes with nine candy molds, two candy maker's spatulas, and four long-handled forks. It can also double as a fondue set. The removable 8 oz. melting pot is dishwasher safe.
