This savory slow-cooked turkey breast is great anytime and perfect for a holiday dinner for 2.
6-1/2 lb. turkey breast (bone-in), thawed, if purchased frozen
1 coarsly chopped onion
2 coarsly chopped celery ribs
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. chicken bouillon granules
1/2 cup hot water
Preparation - Stuff the chopped onion and celery in the hollow of the turkey breast. Place the turkey breast in a 5 or 6 quart crockpot. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Dissolve the chicken bouillon in hot water. Pour over the turkey breast. Cover and cook on low for 8 to 9 hours.
