Preparation - Combine the flour, salt and pepper. Toss mixture with the beef tips. Place in a Crock-Pot. Add onion, pepper, and sliced mushrooms(if using). Combine the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and ketchup. Pour over the beef and vegetables. Cover and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours or on high for 4 to 6 hours. Serve over rice or hot buttered noodles, if desired. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
