Printable Bead Graph Booklets

Sometimes I'll have an idea for a bead graph while I'm out running errands or doing other things, so I made these little booklets. I hope they are as useful to you as they are for me.

If you remember making single page booklets in school, these are laid out the same way. You take a sheet of paper and fold it "hot dog style" or lengthwise so it's long and narrow. Unfold then refold it in half width wise, unfold and fold the short edges of the paper in to the middle. Unfold again, and fold it half width wise again and cut along the center line to where the next set of folds are. In the diagram below, the cut is indicated with a dotted line, and the folds are solid lines.

Unfold it again, and fold the lengthwise line, then bring the two outside sets of pages in towards the middle. From the top it will look like this. The pages with folds on top are in black, the cut lines are in red.

Now finish folding it.

My booklets are set up for US Letter sized paper, printed at 300 dpi with quarter inch margins. They should work with A4 but some trimming may be required. The little earring book is standard triangle brick stitch earrings 16 beads wide. The peyote stitch book is set up with a 30x30 bead graph. For either, if your design is smaller, just color in the beads for your design and you can black out the extra graph paper or ignore it. To get more use out of a sheet of paper, you can print the booklet on both sides, fold, cut, fold and then when you are done with one set of 4 graphs, unfold it and refold it so the blank graphs are on the outside.
Open the images in a new tab and right click to save to your hard drive and then print at 300 dpi with quarter inch margins. Or you can right click and choose save target as. Booklets are in GIF format for smaller sized files. Links will open in a new window if you just click them, hit your browser's back button to come back here.

You have my permission to use these in bead classes or to make up booklets for friends. You can also use these in your graphics program to fill in the graphs and make booklets, and you have my permission to replace the front cover text and back cover text if you're using them that way.
