Take up traveling with the Painter Lady.
Yep, they call me the Painter Lady - I have been painting murals in the Yuma, Arizona area for years. Business to baby rooms and walls inbetween.Walls are more than dividers... They are your canvas.
When I'm not covered with paint... I travel. We travel in the Southwest, including Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada, Colorado and Utah. These travels also include a few dips into Northern Mexico and of course we cruise through Southern California.
We are early stage Baby Boomers, and life is changing rapidly. Jobs have disapeared, and new careers have been started. Income levels have fluctuated, so travel destinations have adjusted as well.
El Golfo Mexico
We just finished a short trip to El Golfo, Mexico. Our first jaunt this far south... what an adventure we had.El Golfo is a travel destination for Winter Visitors and Spring Break - ers.
We actually traveled a bit further south and found wide, clean sandy beaches and crystal clear water.
Living so close to San Diego... we can get to the beach within hours. But.... the cost of a condo or hotel room with a view of the beach is out of this world. The traffic, smog and crowds are overwhelming. It's a beautiful city, and we love going in the summer to cool off. Can you imagine our surprise, when we found better beaches, gourgeous sunsets and fantastic food, all within 2 hours of home?
