All-time compares this with all the other accomplishments in this particular field or area, but since a record is the best achievement so far in an area, is it necessary to say 'all-time record'?

alternative choice - When you are given an alternative, you are given a choice of two or more things to choose from.

armed gunman - A gunman is a person armed with a gun, so why would you use armed to describe a gunman?

artificial prosthesis - A prosthesis is used to replace an arm, leg, foot, etc. that has been lost. Something that is arificial isn'real. There is no such thing as a prosthesis that has blood pumping though its veins. Even if there were, it still wouldn't be the original and would still be considered artificial.
