Hello, and welcome back! More of our snow is melting away now, and I have hopes that in the next month or so, I might even begin to see the crocuses poking their heads up out of the flower beds. But I don't want to rush it, because once spring is here, that also means summer will be on its way, too, and I can definitely wait for the heat and humidity.

We gave away the first book over in the forum this week, but have another giveaway happening now. This time, it's Dee Davis's
Dancing in the Dark. If you're a fan, hurry on over and try to snag that one.

In the meantime, I promised new books, and so you shall have them. In the trio of books I have to share with you all this time is a paperback reprint of Julia Ross's (AKA Jean Ross Ewing)
Seduction (Berkley). I reviewed this one and liked it last year when it was released in trade paperback size, so won't repeat it now, but you can find that review here. And since I've already got a copy of this book, I'll be giving this one away in the forum next week, so pop on over!

Next up is Catherine Coulter's
The Sherbrooke Twins (Jove). James and Jason Sherbrooke, pride of their mother and bane of their father because of their appearance, get their shots at settling down in Happily Ever After-land. If you're a real Coulter fan and have been following the Sherbrooke series since the beginning, you'll be happy to see lots of characters from previous stories. If you've just picked this one up, you're going to be confused by all the secondary characters floating around and having their own viewpoints. Then there's the opening scene with James spanking his future love interest. Not my cup of tea at all. I'm sorry to say I'm only borrowing two of Cupid's five arrows for this one.

Next is Barbara Metzger's
Wedded Bliss (Signet). Robert Rothmore, Earl of Rockford, is none too pleased to learn that his son has been kidnapped by a widow near his family home. Of course, Alissa Henning has done no such thing, but Rockford won't know that until after he's made a spectacle of himself in her cottage. With a local rotter on the loose and after Alissa, and with her reputation now in question, what else is there to do but marry? Naturally, it'll only be a marriage of convenience. Right? Perhaps not. Sweet, though I believe I liked Rockford's sister nearly as much and wish she'd had her own book rather than playing second fiddle here. I'm giving this one three arrows.
