The Band Perry

The Band Perry are country music’s latest up-and-comers who are making a big splash on the country music charts. They've proved that siblings can actually work together – and work together in perfect harmony in their case.

Born in Alabama, the three young siblings Kimberly, Reid and Neil have always had a deep love affair with music after inheriting it from their parents when they were young. Although they originally began playing in separate bands the family members eventually made the right decision to join forces to the relief of all their now-faithful country fans. In 2005 they were invited by Coca-Cola to open the show at the “New Faces of Country” Tour and in 2008 they met Garth Brook’s manager Bob Doyle who has since given them the opportunity to begin writing in Nashville. It wasn’t until August 2009 they were signed onto the new label Republic Nashville.

Since that momentous day they have been featured as CMT’s “Posted” artist for the month of November 2011, they reached number one on the Adult Contemporary Chart; released their debut CD titled The Band Perry on October 12, 2011, which has since gone platinum and were awarded “Best New Artist” at the 45th Annual CMA Awards and at the 2011 Grammys.

If I Die Young is one of the four released singles by The Band Perry and if you listen to country music on the radio or television, chances are you have heard it. The single reached number one on the Hot Country Songs chart, number 14 on the Billboard Hot 100 and has also been certified triple platinum.

The Band Perry uses social media sites like Facebook, MySpace, Twitter and also their own personal website that fans and future fans alike can visit to get to know the close-knit musicial trio and keep track of their ongoing activity and upcoming shows.

As Kimberly Perry was quoted on their website saying "We've walked a long way to find your ears, so play us long and play us loud. The Band Perry is here, and we just have so darn much to say."
