Love Your Peaches Clothing Company

Love Your Peaches has an interesting concept when it comes to plus size clothing shopping. Every year they offer a few new styles as well as their basics with multiple fabric options to choose from. It started out as one of those mom and pop shops over fifteen years ago, by Janelle Lowe, and has grown its own cult following of loyal customers. They have been pretty low key over the years with little fan fare but they have been consistent.

Selection: Love Your Peaches actually have quite a large selection to choose from for swimwear, tops, bottoms, dresses, and active wear. And if you include the different fabric choices for each item then it is even larger. Love Your Peaches does not offer "massed produced" clothing that is lying around in the stock room waiting to be ordered, each item ordered is specially made. They will even do custom alterations at the time if you need a longer or shorter hem or sleeve.

Sizing: Love Your Peaches clothing line is available in sizes 1x to 6x.

Pricing: I would say Love Your Peaches prices fall mid-scale. Tops range from $52 to $134, bottoms range from $46 to $99, dresses range from $74 to $155, and swimwear separates range from $39 to $79.

Availability: Love Your Peaches ships throughout the United States and internationally. Basic shipping costs in the US are $7 and they recommend other places email them for a quote to their location.

Overall Impression: I love many of the styles at Love Your Peaches but would like to see more of an allotment for form fitting items (I do not mean skin tight) as many styles seem to drape on the models and remind me of a cross between a gypsy hippie look -- this is not a bad thing per se, just limiting as far as style and reach.

The fact that this online store has a full range of sizes up to 6x and that they offer world wide shipping is awesome. I am assuming that because they create on demand it is much easier to have a wider size range than the typical stocked store.

Understandably it takes about seven to ten days for garments to be made but this is an incredibly short turnover as other custom-made shops can be up to four weeks before an item is shipped out (plus additional shipping time on top of that). So ten days would definitely be worth the wait.
