Jumping straight off the smash hit “Freaky Friday,” Lindsay Lohan lands in a comedy with attitude, “Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen.” Lohan starring as Lola, although her given name is Mary, simply doesn’t feel as though her life is worth living when she’s forced to endure the calamity triggered when her divorced bohemian mother (Glenne Headly) uproots Lola and her young twin sisters from The Big Apple and Greenwich Village to the netherland suburb of Dellwood in New Jersey. As the self-described flamingo among pigeons crosses the bridge into oblivion, Lola find that her new school already has a girl, Carla Santini (Megan Fox), who has claimed the title of most popular girl, the same title Lola held at her old school. Lola’s ultimate goal to oust Carla from her reign begins when she sets her sights on nabbing the lead role in the next school play, Pygmalion, and taking over as the reigning drama queen.

As the girls continue to wage war against each other, Lola flirts with Sam (Eli Marienthal) and quickly befriends the drab Ella, a wallflower who lives within a hidebound gated community. But the wallflower swiftly begins to blossom with Lola’s assistance.

Ella and Lola share a great passion for the rock band, Sidarthur. Lola considers the band’s lyricist, Stu Wolff (Adam Garcia), the absolute greatest poet since Shakespeare, himself. Of course, catastrophe ensues when the band decides to break up, making the girls determined to attend their New York farewell concert. But, there’s only one problem, the girls don’t have tickets and the concert is sold out. As fate would have it, Carla not only has tickets to the concert, but also an invite to attend the afterparty at Stu’s Soho loft.

Will Lola be able to sneak into the concert? And, will she finally meet Stu Wolff, the object of her affections?
