So, I Can't Play H!

So, I Can't Play H! is an anime series based on a light novel series written by Pan Tachibana and illustrated by Yoshiaki Katsurai.

The main character of the series is Ryosuke Kaga, a very perverted high school boy. Unfortunately, as he's ogling girls, he ends up saying his thoughts out loud without realizing it. This has made him a notorious pervert at his high school.

One day, Ryosuke returns home on a rainy afternoon, and finds a beautiful girl standing outside his house without an umbrella. He invites the girl inside, and she suddenly puts a broken blade into his chest, knocking Ryosuke out.

It turns out the girl is Lisara Restor, an elite Death God who is on a mission. She has come to Earth to search for a human known as the "Singular Man." Being on Earth takes away her energy, so she needed to make a bond with a human in order to replenish her energy; the human she chose was Ryosuke. It turns out the source of his energy is his perverted spirit. A result of this is the fact that Ryosuke can no longer feel aroused during the heat of the moment. He ends up having to agree to help Lisara in her search in order to recover his spirit.

In order to view So, I Can't Play H! on Crunchyroll, you have to log in with an account to prove that you're 18 years of age and older due to the nature of the content. After watching this first episode, I see that nudity is hinted at, but is never actually shown. Also, there are sexual things suggested at during the episode, but it's no worse than what I've seen in other anime. Perhaps later episodes in the series become more explicit in that regard; otherwise, I don't truly understand the 18 and over restriction.

As for the concept itself, I personally wasn't too terribly interested in it. I can probably explain my lack of interest between seeing similar concepts and ideas in other anime, and the fact that I'm not a member of the target demographic. However, viewers who enjoy sexual humor with innuendo and hinted at nudity will probably enjoy So, I Can't Play H!

With Crunchyroll only making the streams available to users 18 and older, I can only personally recommend So, I Can't Play H! to anime viewers who are 18 years of age and older.
