Derail Dry Hair with Macadamia Nut Oil

Despite it being one of my favorite cholesterol free snack to nibble on, I had no idea that macadamia nuts were so much more than tasty treats. They are full of potassium, magnesium, iron and calcium to make my body feel great but could they also do something for my hair?

I came across macadamia nut oil through a friend of mine who recommended I try it after I had been complaining of my hair being dry and frizzy. She told me to try it out and I decided to give it a chance.

Macadamia nut oil is a hydrator and when it gets paired up with argan it has a bunch of benefits for the hair. In addition to moisturizing, providing UV protection, healing split ends and making hair healthy and shiny, macadamia nut oil can also help colored hair stay vibrant and resist fading.

Unsure where to start, I scurried to the shampoo aisle at the grocery store and was happy to find a sulfate free macadamia nut oil shampoo and conditioner by Organix on the shelves.

I washed my hair that night and after shampooing I could feel a bit of a difference. My hair wasn't as tangled and had a great smell. After rinsing and letting the conditioner sit on my hair for a while I set out to detangle my hair.

It was definitely easier and my hair felt pretty silky. Once I let my hair air dry I was able to see that my curls were a lot smoother. I was pleased with my first experience with macadamia nut oil products.

I decided to try out a few other products and I found Macadamia Natural Oil. They carry quite a large line of products for hair care and styling as well as accessories. This line has a lot of qualities that I look for in hair products. It uses mostly natural ingredients, is a dynamo when it comes to tackling my dry hair and helps my hair stay healthy. I was so pleased with the Healing Oil Spray. It was not heavy at all and kept my hair moisturized very well.

I'm in love with the way macadamia nut oil products have made my hair feel. It feels nice to have something that smells so delicious be so great at keeping dryness at bay and helping me de-tangle my hair. If you're looking for something to help you keep your hair healthy or combat frizz or dry hair this coming winter definitely look into macadamia nut oil.
