| In this Kwik 2 tutorial, we will create our first example of sequencing animation and sound. For this tutorial, you can continue with either the movie clip or the sprite sheet animation that you have created previously. In a previous tutorial, we created a sprite sheet containing three images that when played in sequence created a fly moving its wings. We then used the Sprite Sheet Replacement feature to add the animation to a page in our book app. Also in a previous tutorial, we created a movie clip fly animation from the same three images and added it to the page using the Movie Clip Replacement feature. At this point, the fly just sits there moving its wings but doesn't move anywhere. In this tutorial,we will use the Path Animation to move the fly off the page. But we want this page to be more interactive. Let's add a button that the reader can use to make the fly go off the page. We can do this my using a Wait Request for the Path Animation to tell Kwik not to move the fly until the button is clicked. Also, we will import two audio files that sound like a fly. The first audio file will be a muted fly sound and will be set to play continuously when the page loads. The second audio file will be a louder fly sound that will play when the button is clicked. Because the sound is louder, it will give the impression that the reader has startled the fly and caused him to fly away. This process will take several steps. First we will import the two audio files into the page, setting one to play immediately and continuously until the button is clicked and the other audio to play by the button click. Secondly, we need to create the Path Animation and set the Wait Request. Finally, we will add the button to trigger a sequence of actions. Play fly animation Stop the first audio Play the second audio Open your project in to Photoshop and let's import the audio files.
