Unfortunately it's still winter. At least, that's my opinion. Usually every night in the winter I want a hot drink. A few nights ago, I couldn't make up my mind if I wanted coffee or cocoa. I really wanted both of them! So, I came up with an idea. I have recipes that call for coffee and chocolate, or different mixes of these same general families. Why not combine them and see what I come up?

I gave it a try and the result was absolutely srumpalicous! My daughter decided it was cocoa coffee, thus the name. Here's what I came up with:

• 3 heaping tsp instant cocoa mix


• 1/4 cup of strong coffee


• 3/4 cup boiling water


• marshmellows are optional

Pour the 3 tsp of cocoa mix into a large mug. Add coffee, followed by boiling water and stir.

Top with marshmellows or whipped cream.
