Using the RoboForm Logins Button

This article is the next install

This article is the next installment in the series on how to use RoboForm for password management. Topics covered so far have included an introduction, file types, Passcards and how to fill form data. This article continues the series with information on using the one-click feature for quickly accessing and logging into saved websites.

Logins Button

The Logins Button is located on the RoboForm toolbar and it is used to quickly access and login into a saved site. When the Logins Button is pressed a listing of all saved Passcards is displayed. When a Passcard is selected from the list RoboForm will navigate to the associated web page, fill in the login information and submit the form. Doesn’t get much easier than that!

Additional Login Commands

When selecting which Passcard to use there is additional commands available that control how the Passcard will be opened or processed. To access the additional commands click on the Logins button to bring up the list of Passcards and then right-click to bring up the context menu and available options.

Recent and Most Popular Passcards

RoboForm keeps track of the recently used and most popular Passcards and displays both lists in the Logins menu. Either one of these lists can be cleared by selecting the Clear List command at the bottom of each list.

Browser Options for One-Click Login

The default setting for opening a Passcard is to open the site in the same window. This setting can be overridden on individual sites as described above or the default setting can be modified to change the how the Passcard is open – same window or new window.

To change the default action select RoboForm | Options | Login Browser and either select Same Browser Window or New Browser Window.

Accessing and logging into websites can now be accomplished with the click of a button! Much easier than trying to remember website addresses and login information.

Stay tuned for the next article in the series on using RoboForm for password management.
