I loved that almost every revelation from these dogs was hilarious. Yes, there are a few that are sad. Another awesome thing about this book is that each 'chapter' is only two pages long. Each wonderful secret revealed by each dog is a complete chapter, so you don't have to set aside long periods of time to read. This book can be read when you only have a couple of minutes, just enough time to see part of the world through a dog's eyes. And each 'chapter' is accompanied by a picture of the dog telling it.
I own three dogs – an Australian shepherd, a German shepherd, and a boxer/shepherd mix – and I have often wondered what goes through their minds, why they look at me the way they do, and why they react to things in certain ways. After reading and laughing my way through this book, I feel that I understand them just a bit better.
If you own any dogs, this book is a must for you. If you don't own any dogs, but love to laugh, you would enjoy reading it. Even if you hate dogs, I really feel that this book would entertain you.
