Many of us could use a personal assistant this holiday and so I found a few APPs that will make your life much easier and safer this year. This APP is for those planning a party. A great way to get your party planning underway!

APP #2 ~ PhotoShower
This Android APP is a great way to connect friends all over. When people join your photoshower every image taken by any participant is instantly shared without any other step! It is a great APP that your should check out.

APP #3 ~ Time Square Ball Drop APP
This APP is in both Android and iPhone markets and allows the end user to watch the ball drop live. On top of that you are able to take pictures and turn them into your own New Year’s photo cards.

APP #4 ~ New Year’s Noise
What a fun APP! And iPhone APP that transforms your smartphone into a noisemaker. It does cost $.99 but there are a variety of noises like a cowbell, air horn, party horn and siren. All you need to do is shake your iPhone for a new sound to play.

APP #5 ~ Taxi Magic
Why wait for a taxi when you can order one in advance through this APP. Even pay via the APP!

APP #6 ~ Waterford Clink Clink
Another fun APP! This APP is fund to have around on any occasion but most especially New Year’s Eve. All you need to do is clink your iPhones together to hear the ‘clink clink’ sound. A great way for those not drinking to celebrate the tradition of clinking glasses together.

APP #7 ~ Happy New Year’s 2011 Countdown
This APP is great for those who want to be in the know! Not only does this one count down your local time zone but multiple time zones around the world. Follow the new year as it dawns around the world!
