Colors

What are your favorite colors and how do they make you feel?

I like pastel shades of blue, pink, lavender and sometimes green. I also like having a silver car. I find the color silver to be relaxing, especially when I'm walking towards the car. Coincidentally, studies have shown that silver cars have fewer accidents. White cars tend to experience road rage more often than other car colors. And brown cars have the highest rate of accidents. As a result, the production of brown cars by car manufacturers has been reduced. Colors affect our world and the people in it. They also affect the way we feel.

There is a light pink couch in the living room where I live. I like surrounding myself with colors, especially relaxing ones. I dislike red and have banned it from my home and life. But I do think some people look really nice in red. When I was younger I liked to dress in black. When I look back on that now I think how could I of done that when there are so many beautiful colors. I see black as depressing and negative. But it will always be a classic color to wear. I only wear black once in a while, if at all. I like colors because they make life feel better.

My favorite colors to decorate with are blue, white and silver. Especially for a bedroom. When I see someone painted their bedroom red or black, I find it difficult to breathe, and often have to refrain from asking how they can possibly sleep in a room that color. The truth is that color affects everyone differently and the most important thing is how a color makes you feel. I think calming colors like blue and green are a good decision, especially for childrenís bedrooms. I donít necessarily believe in painting a childís room pink. I love the color pink, but I believe it can make a child feel weak instead of strong.

Hospitals paint their rooms certain relaxing colors because those colors help people to heal. Visualizing colors in your mind can be restorative, and help you to recover from illness. Color is healing. Color is positive. It helps you to feel good. Color can give strength and encouragement. It can inspire creativity and well-being. The true colors found in nature are especially healing to the mind and body. Let colors into your life and you will experience healing and feeling better.
