Pirates Of The Caribbean - At World's End

The savvy, seafaring heroes must navigate the treacherous waters to reach World’s End to retrieve the one and only Captain Jack Sparrow who’s lost in Davy Jones’ locker. They then must unite the pirate lords in a final showdown against Davy Jones and the crew of the Flying Dutchman who is being controlled by Cutler Beckett. But the pirate alliance has one more trick in their sails with Calypso, the sea goddess they’ve trapped in human form and plan on releasing. Here are a few movie mistakes to look for while watching “Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End”.

· When Jack escapes from Beckett, he attempts to get back to the Black Pearl with help from the cannons. Beckett tells Jack “you’re mad” after which Jack lights the cannon. A close-up of Beckett shows him duck for cover. It cuts to another angle just as the cannon fire breaks one of the wood beams and Beckett can be seen ducking for cover again.

· Will is revealed as the one leaving the “trail” for Beckett on the ocean. A close-up of Will is shown and he is holding the knife with the sharp edge towards his left. It cuts to a close-up of the knife when he turns it over in his hand, with the sharp edge now facing towards his right. It cuts back to the previous view and the sharp edge is once again to his left.

· Barbossa and Tia Dalma are talking as they enter Shipwreck Cove. Tia Dalma first grabs Barbossa’s wrist when he comments “we agreed on ends only…” and her hand is on the white material of his sleeve, near his hand. It cuts to a side view of the two of them and her grasp has moved further up his arm, away from his hand and on the sleeve of his coat.

“Pirates of the Caribbean – At World’s End” stars Johnny Depp, Geoffrey Rush, Orlando Bloom, Keira Knightley, Bill Nighy, Jack Davenport, Jonathan Pryce, Stellan Skarsgard and Naomie Harris. It runs 169 minutes and is rated PG-13 for intense sequences of action/adventure violence and some frightening images.
