Blanket Stitch Tutorial - Turning the Corner
To stitch around a corner, to space the stitches so that you will end up about a stitch width from the corner as shown in the photo.
Insert your needle from the top into the same hole as the last stitch. Pull the floss up and put the needle through the loop from underneath.
Tug on the floss to snup up the stitch. This stitch will lie diagonally across the corner (see photo).
Insert the needle into the same hole as the previous two stitches and pull floss through, leaving a small loop. Bring needle up through the loop.
Pull on floss to close the loop and tighten the stitch. It should like the photo.
