Pack your lawn chairs, blankets and line your pockets with cash for parking and the many great vendors at this year's Celebration of Freedom Festival. You can enjoy a full day of music, food and fun for the entire family. Celebrate Freedom concert will take place on August 31st at Jim R Miller Park, which is also home to the North Georgia State Fair. Located off Windy Hill Road, and Calloway Rd, the park is six miles from I-75. The all day event starts at 8 am and ends at 11 pm.

The concert will feature some of the biggest names is Christian music including: Switchfoot, Third Day, Laura Story, Family Force 5, Francesca Battistelli and many others. Did I tell you that you can see all of them for...Free!

This year 104.7 The Fish and Athletics8.com Marena Group's active-wear line will also present the Celebrate Freedom 5K-10K run to benefit The Children's Hospital of Atlanta. The Celebrate Freedom Run is a 5K/10K road race in Marietta, GA. The race will kick-off the annual Celebrate Freedom Festival on Saturday, August 31st at Jim R. Miller Park! The race is open to elite & recreational runners, walkers, families & jog strollers are welcome. It starts at 7 am before the festival. The post race party will be fun for the entire family and then you can take advantage of the southeast premier family festival Celebrate Freedom.

Schedule for Race Day
6am-7am: Packet Pickup
7:30am: 10K Run starts
7:40am: 5K run starts

Packets can be picked up early on at Jim R. Miller park on FRIDAY, AUG 30 from 11am - 8pm. All other packets MUST BE PICKED UP between 6am - 7am on RACE DAY.

Entry fees for the race are as follows:
10K Late Registration - $35 (after August 1st)
5K RACE DAY Registration - $40 (available 6a - 7a only)
10K RACE DAY Registration - $45 (available 6a - 7a only)
