Kate Holbrook is a single, successful business woman who has everything she wants except for one thing---a baby. But she gets more than she bargained for when she selects the outspoken and flamboyant Angie to be her surrogate mother. Here are a few movie mistakes to look for while watching “Baby Mama”.
∙ Barry is first shown at the meeting grabbing a glass with green liquid behind the marker labeled “C”. (“A” has a glass with white liquid and “B” has a glass with brownish liquid.) He drinks the contents and tells everyone to “take a shot of the pea soup”. The scene cuts to a farther front view and the glass with the white liquid is still behind “A” but the one with the browning liquid is behind “C” and “B” is empty.
∙ Kate first walks into Super Fruity and Rob is putting jars on a shelf. The right side view of him shows two jars---the one in his left hand that he’s putting on the shelf and one that he’s holding in his right hand. It cuts to a left side view when Rob notices her and the jar in his left hand is still there but he’s holding three in his right one.
∙ After the “sink incident” with Angie, Kate leaves to go to work. She’s wearing a black dress and has a black bag when she leaves. When Kate meets with Barry and the others outside the warehouse, she’s now wearing a white shirt, black skirt and carrying a brown handbag.
∙ After the night out clubbing, Kate and Angie are walking on the sidewalk when Kate sees Scott’s (her ex’s) car. Kate’s sleeves are off her shoulder while she’s talking with Angie. But in the front close-up view of her right before Angie throws the trash can on the car, Kate’s right sleeve is on her shoulder. When the trash can hits the car, the sleeve is down again. It’s up in the close-up after the trash can falls off the car.
