Prime Suspect - PBS Finale November 2006

If you loved the PBS Prime Suspect series with Helen Mirren as Detective Superintendent Jane Tennison, you must watch the series finale. Be sure to mark your calendars for Prime Suspect 7 The Final Act. It will be shown on Sundays, November 12 and 19, 2006 Check your local PBS stations for information.

Prime Suspect lead Mirren has won countless awards. At least five of them have been for her portrayal of DCI Jane Tennison. You can listen to the January 2004 Woman's Hour BBC Radio interview with Jackie Malton (see Related Links), the former Metropolitan Police Detective Chief Inspector who inspired Lynda La Plante to create the Tennison character. Don't forget to look for Helen Mirren in the film The Queen (2006), the reviews have been thumbs-up for this fine actress. In June of 2003, Mirren was made a Dame of the British Empire during the Queen's Birthday Honours.
