Victoria’s very versatile style is easily changed into several different looks. It is short in back with a soft fringy neckline. Longer sides add to the versatility. Wear them down and face framing or tuck one or both sides behind an ear. The extensive texturizing and disconnected layers create the piecy sides and make it easy to change the look from smooth and sleek to full and spikey.
In the first illustration all of the texturized layers are styled up and out for fullness.
Shampoo and condition your hair with volumizing products. Apply a liberal amount of firm hold styling mousse or gel and blow the hair dry in a random manner. Dry the sides down, close to your face. If your hair doesn’t lift naturally, you can use a narrow flat iron to lift it off the scalp. Hold the flat iron close to the scalp and ‘iron’ it up. The styling product will hold it. Scrunch in styling wax or paste to add extra body and separate the pieces. Pull some of the shorter pieces down around your face. Finish the style by spraying with flexible firm hold hair spray to keep the messy texture.
In the second illustration, the hair is very smooth and styled close to the head. The texturizing and layers are almost hidden in this very sleek variation. Your hair may lay smoothly naturally. If not, use smoothing shampoo and conditioner. Apply styling products that are formulated to straighten and smooth. Use a flat iron to smooth out any waves and to take out fullness. After your hair is dry, use shine drops, smoothing serum or moisturizing cream to take out frizz and get rid of fly-aways.
For those days when you want a more traditional look, this cut can be styled into a traditional bob look. Simply blow dry with a round brush, turning it all under. Smooth out frizz, but leave the fullness in. The sides cam be worn down, framing the face, in the traditional bob style or tucked behind an ear.
