Most of all, it conveys the love the adoptive parent has for the former orphan child. A child who is so much loved and wanted. The prefect match!

The illustrations convey the love between the child and parent. The mother's love for the baby from the orphange leaps from the pages and warms the reader's heart.

I Love You Like Crazy Cakes gives an explanation of adoption in a picture book. A child is able to understand the story of adoption. Rose Lewis writes a dear book for adoptive families.

Many families are adopting children from China. This is the perfect book to read to these children especially girls. The parent can read the book to infants and toddlers. Later, the child can read the picture book on her own. Parents should write in the book the date of adoption and sign it with love. Place a picture of the child and new family on the inside cover. The book will prove to become the child's prize procession.

Every child needs to feel special. This increases their self-esteem. Children with strong self-esteem grow up to be strong people. These strong people have great relationships with others and have strong families of their own.
