Narnia - Peter and Aslan Take a Walk

Peter Pevensie and his sister, Susan and Lucy, arrive at the Stone Table. They and Mr. & Mrs. Beaver arrive after a long arduous trip through the snowy fields. Maugrim and the White Witch’s Secret Police snap at their heels the entire way. There they meet Aslan, the creator of Narnia, and his army.

Aslan and Peter Pevensie take a walk away from the others. The fields are no longer snowy but green for spring has come to Narnia. Aslan stops and gestures in the far distance. In the far distance stands Cair Paravel. Cair Paravel is a castle on the Eastern Sea. It is the home of the Kings and Queens of Narnia.

Aslan quietly and patiently explains his destiny to Peter Pevensie. Peter is to become the High King of Narnia. He and his siblings: Susan, Edmund and Lucy are the true rulers of Narnia. They will live in the castle, Cair Paravel.

Peter has doubts of being a great leader. Yet, Aslan has great faith in the young man. Aslan has Father Christmas give him tools he will need. Peter received a sword and shield to use in his duties.
